If you like these sweded versions, we have 2 new reward levels on our Kickstarter campaign. For $30, you can get a sweded ringtone of your favorite video game song. Or, for $125, you can request a swede. Tell us the game, and we’ll make a no-budget short based on it. Click here to donate!
We wanted to show you what BIT Parts would look like without funding. With the help of our lead actors, Jolyn Janis and Brian Villalobos, as well as Jason Vines (actor and special effects make-up guru), we created “sweded” versions of BIT Parts — which is, BIT Parts with no money.

We are approaching the last 2 weeks of our Kickstarter campaign for BIT Parts and we have some fun stuff we are going to be sharing with everyone as we ramp up to the end. A lot you might not know that much about Blue Goggles Films and our team, so today, we are starting a little series where a few of us get together and talk about our earliest video game memories. In this video, Ben Moody (writer/director), Jolyn Janis (Agent Zero) and Brian Villalobos (Agent One) start it off.

What is E3? E3 is the biggest gaming event of the year. Basically all the big companies come together to show off the new games they are working on. It gives gamers a glimpse of what’s to come. Does everything meet our expectations when it’s finally released? Of course not. But it’s still fun to watch and get excited about the future of gaming.
E3 can be extremely daunting to follow as there will be a ton of information pouring out every day this week. I’m simply going to create a small “MUST WATCH” list of videos coming out of E3 each day. Enjoy!
Xbox SmartGlass
Putting this on my list may get me killed by hardcore gamers but I gotta say, it’s pretty freakin’ cool. This fall (apparently) you will be able to use any tablet or smart phone you already owe to navigate a web browser on your TV via the Xbox 360. It’s also going to introduce new ways to integrate supplemental interactive material for movies and games. This is really why it’s on my list. My imagination is already racing with ideas of how this can be used to enhance and dive deeper into movies and games. It sounds very exciting to me.
The Last of Us
This game has been on my most anticipated list since the debut trailer came out back in December. We now get to see the game in action and I gotta say, it looks spectacular. I love how desperate and survival oriented the gameplay looks. Oh, and if you didn’t know, it’s made by the same people that made the Uncharted series.
Watch Dogs
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of this title but it has instantly jumped onto my most wanted list. This is what I love about E3, surprises. I don’t really know how to describe this game, maybe Grand Theft Auto meets Blade Runner? Anyway, this game didn’t debut with a trailer, it debuted with some creative and imaginative gameplay as well as stunning graphics.
Beyond: Two Souls
This is another new IP that really stands out from the crowd. It’s a new game from the makers of Heavy Rain, which while flawed, was an original game that I enjoyed. I’m hoping they learned from their mistakes with Heavy Rain and bring more gameplay to their dramatic stories. The game stars the one and only Ellen Page. It’s really cool to see her likeness as an action star of a video game.
