Blue Goggles Update: 04/13/12
Last weekend’s shoot was awesome and this week, we’ve been busy with the post-production. Check it out!
That’s Awesome! – 8 Bit Dreams
You know what’s awesome? Artist Campbell Whyte painting 375 NES inspired paintings, that’s what. He was doing a painting a day for a little over a year which is pretty insane. Each painting is inspired by a different NES game. Take a look at his impressive catalogue which acts like a trip down memory lane of gaming. I mean look, it’s Dynowarz!

Phew! What a weekend! We had two 12 hour night shoots at a local school Friday and Saturday. This should have been a three night shoot but our cast and crew worked tirelessly through the two nights we had and got it done.
This was easily the biggest thing we at Blue Goggles Films had ever undertaken. Our amazing cast of dedicated zombies on Saturday night reached 17 people alone. Two of our favorite things about this shoot was working with all our Blue Goggles regulars and also being able to meet and work with so many new people. I hope we will be working with many of them again in the near future.
This was an intense weekend for all involved but it isn’t over yet. I’m hopping right into the edit “bay” now and will be getting a picture lock before the end of the week. We have some exciting news to announce in the upcoming weeks pertaining to the release of this newest short. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted on all things Blue Goggles related.
We can’t thank everyone who helped out enough. We’re going to work our butts off to make sure it is something everyone involved is proud of. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Blue Goggles Update: 03/30/12
It’s the first of our new weekly updates. We wanted to start sharing our process with fans and give you a look at what we are doing as we work on our monthly shorts. Hope you enjoy and check back each Friday for a new update!
Beautiful Burgers & Sexy Sandwiches #1
I’m pretty open and vocal about my obsession with lunch. Dinner and breakfast can go to hell for all I care. Just give me lunch three times a day and I’m a happy camper. Anyway, I just thought it would be funny to take “artsy” (Hipstamatic) photos of the burgers and sandwiches I eat. I’m not going to review the food but I will tell you what it is and where I got it from. I just think it’ll be funny in a year’s time to have a complete catalog of the burgers and sandwiches I’ve eaten. Let’s get started.

As part of our 2012 resolution to release a short every month, we thought it also be fun to have a shirt with each video. For March’s Mass Effect video, you can sport one of the following shirts:

Romancing the Elcor
In honor of Mass Effect 3 coming out next week, here’s a look at a little video I made with my fellow WikiCheaters Rob Slusser and Adam Lindsley a few years back for Mass Effect 2. It was voiced by the wonderful Amanda Troop and the one and only Brent Phillips. Enjoy.
