Ben grew up in “Stephen King country” of rural Maine before attending film school in New York City. He then moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and started his career in the film industry at a post-production house where he worked on trailer campaigns for indie darlings like A SCANNER DARKLY and blockbusters such as HARRY POTTER.
Ben then transitioned into writing and producing video content for GameTrailers.com where his videos racked up millions of views which helped get the attention of MTV/Viacom who then acquired the website.
From there Ben and his wife Rachel moved to Austin, TX where they started Blue Goggles Films together. Since then, Ben has written and directed over 15 short films, a web series, some commercials and the award-winning feature film, LAST GIRL STANDING.
Ben is currently developing his next feature film, eating tacos and playing video games with his 9-year-old son.
RACHEL MOODY

Rachel Moody was introduced to horror films at a very young and impressionable age when she caught the beginning of TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE. The phrase, “Do you want to see something really scary?” has forever been etched in her brain as well as the thrill of a good scare. At that moment, a horror fan was born.
Rachel’s partnership with director Benjamin R. Moody started over the shared love of a great scare. Together, the two started Blue Goggles Films in 2008 and have made a number of short films and web series during that time. As a producer, Rachel has worn many hats including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, managing cast and crew and even catering.
